Time really is like a waterfall: non-stop and fast-flowing. From just stumbling to finish the first task in this course, the whole class is already at the final checkpoint. Things took quite a sudden turn when Ms. Linda announced she had to return home, and I as well as my teammates are trying the best to cope with the situation.
To our surprise, the team's marks on the podcast assignment wasn't what we had hoped for, so that was an opportunity for us to reflect on it. I was able to learn that it is essential to distribute the load evenly among members of a team, and I will definitely apply that knowledge on whatever I do next. In this case, it is the second assignment - and a big one at that: producing a magazine.
THE MAGAZINE
The core concept about coffee was based on my suggestion, but credits go to my peers since they really elevated it to another level.
I am in charge of writing the content, so let's see how the project turns out!
Besides, I am intrigued and partly curious as to what Mr. Felix - the course coordinator - will bring to the table. Maybe formality, propriety or humor? Usually at this point in the semester, one isn't expecting a major change such as this, but personally I am eager to absorb his teaching and more importantly, to integrate it to my future work. On the other hand, hopefully Ms. Linda stays safe herself and resolves whatever matter it is.
Overall, the course is nearer to its conclusion than I subconsciously think. Apart from high grades and valuable knowledge, my wants also include everyone's safety and wellbeing amidst the hardships of Covid-19. After a long and difficult year, it is finally relieving to say: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
